What's on a Novapath Certificate

Each certificate includes the learner's name, the course/season title, completion date, a unique verification code, and a short summary of learning outcomes. Certificates are issued as downloadable PDFs and contain embedded metadata for verification.

Verify a Certificate

Employers, partners and learners can verify certificates in two ways:

• Verification URL: Every certificate displays a short public verification URL (for example: `novapath.co/cert/ABC123`) that resolves to a read-only verification page.
• Verification API: For programmatic checks, we provide a read-only verification endpoint (contact partnerships for an API key and rate limits). The endpoint returns certificate metadata and an integrity signature.

Download, Share & Embed

Learners can download a printable PDF immediately from their profile. PDFs include the verification URL and an optional QR code. You can share the verification link with employers or add it to a LinkedIn profile via the usual certificate upload flow.

Revocation & Integrity

Novapath maintains an audit trail for all issued certificates. Certificates may be revoked in case of academic integrity violations or account closure. Revoked certificates will show a clear status on the verification page and via the API.

Accessibility & Privacy

PDF certificates follow WCAG-friendly text alternatives and we provide a machine-readable JSON export for integrations. We only include learner-identifying information with explicit consent; email addresses and private details are not embedded in the public verification page.
